Hey, friends! As we all know, things are absolutely insane right now with the COVID-19 pandemic still sweeping our nation. For some of us, that means working exclusively from home. For others, that means not working at all due to layoffs and businesses closing. We’re all experiencing change like we’ve never seen before, which is obviously scary.
That being said, things here at MHP look a little different than normal. All sessions are to be socially distanced and completely masked by any guests and employees. Obviously models are permitted to remove their masks when being photographed, but any time off-camera must be spent wearing a mask. I know it’s uncomfortable, inconvenient, and annoying, but we all have to be safe until this craziness is gone.
I’m personally struggling with this pandemic because I’m double immunocompromised (pregnant and asthmatic). I have to be extra careful when going out to get groceries and run errands. It’s terrifying how many people are choosing to ignore the severity of this pandemic, especially when they come in direct contact with me at times. For instance, yesterday I had an appointment with my OB/GYN and some of the women in the waiting room were wearing their masks incorrectly or not at all.
All I’m asking is that you wear your masks and wash your hands frequently. Remember that these precautions aren’t just for the people around you, they’re for you too. Everyone must be cautious and careful for the safety of ourselves and those around us. Please stay safe out there!
